I've been startled by Homer and Ralph at 2 AM, I thought someone was trying to break in or were already in the house- ran from the room in underwear with a 2x4 trying to find the person :oops: :roll: turned out it was just my sister's game going off because she didn't know what notifications were :roll:

The first thing I do every time I download a new game is going to its settings and disabling notifications. On TSTO I still get those annoying "x has visited" (one day I'll disable notifications from the android settings menu) but at leas my phone doesn't yell every time someone finishes a job.

Loving the responses so far. It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one who has been embarassed!

I can also relate to having the bejeesus scared out of me in the middle of the night. The war cry notification for the CoC event gets me every time!!

I don't have many of these, but once at a lecture we were interupted by a couple of teachers who brought borrowed stuff back to the class and I heard Homer screaming: "Hey, visitors!"

The worst part was that they were still conbected to my speakers from beforr, so the whole class was sure to hear it!

I installed Tapped Out on my brothers phone, and It went off when he had a seminar:D
He said it was a little bit embarrassing since everyone looked at him while homer was screaming:
Hey, HEEY, stop doings things and come play with me!!

LOL, still cracks me up :lol:

He uninstalled it in a second after that though, haha

I was home alone, and my sister phoned me. Halfway through the conversation one of my TSTO notifications went off (as loud as it can go), and my sister thought I was with a guy. Took me a while to convince her otherwise lol! :lol:

I am a little jealous - I don't ever seem to get the "Visitors, better put pants on" notification.. I do get the notice along the top of my phone that someone has visited but I don't ever get the sound that goes along with it..

For me the most embarrassing would have been riding the elevator to work... 4 of us in the car, 3 levels to go and it went off - Better them than me! Not nearly embarrassing as others but for me, I turned a little red.. Now I make it a point to double check that my phone is on vibrate when I pull into the parking garage.
