Mountain sides gone

Sorry if this has been raised already and it's ye olde news, but has anyone else noticed the mountains come to an end.

Previously they did carry on, (below) any insight as to why.

I'm hoping it's because they're doing a big land update, I would be happy to forego any other updates for the sake of an update just dedicated to giving more land, and possibly a screenshot feature.

    The strange blue line is back. It was removed a few patch fixes ago but it has returned. For what it's worth. Just noticed.

    This is an image of my town (or part of) before the last land strip was added. There are 3 grey mountains left. My town now has 2 grey mountains left so it does not expand with extra land.

    Thanks. A lot of screenshots and MS Paint. Unfortunately the whole town pic is either too big or corrupted so I can no longer edit it or upload it. :(

    I have yet to see this blue line, never seen it.

    This happened to me two Halloween events ago. Apu walked up the mountains and Rev. Lovejoy walked off the map. Had to contact EA and got weird emails sent back to me saying how Rev. Lovejoy has walked to Shelbyville and he will return back in your town when we sort it out. I was so annoyed as I did not find this funny. A long while later I got my characters back.
