I've seen a lot of threads discussing high multipliers and providing encouragement to newer players, or players newly working on their multipliers now, but I had a question for those with already high multipliers:What do you do with such a high multiplier? The reason I ask is that I passed 1000%, which I feel puts me in the the "middle class" of multipliers, and I've been able to buy anything I want without issue. I have enough donuts to top that to 2500% but I don't really see the point anymore. In fact I'm thinking of retiring from KEM farming and just blowing it on Rat Trap trucks whenever my cash gets too high.If your multiplier is in the range of several thousand and earning hundreds of donuts daily, what are you doing with all you donuts? Boosting through events? Rushing tasks? Trying to buy everything (ie. completionism)? Or has it taken a life of its own - increasing the multiplier for the sake of having a high multiplier? Trying to amass as many donuts as possible as a personal goal?I'm not judging or anything, I've just bought everything I ever wanted and can afford anything new they throw at me... so I'm wondering what other people are planning to do with their donuts?

It's entirely up to personal preference. I stopped intentionally building up my multiplier at around 600%, which was probably around when the collider came out. It became so easy to fill the XP bar at that point, I felt no need to hoarde multiplier items. That's not to say I won't take advantage of things like the Knight Boat rebate, but it's mostly now about whether or not I want the item in my town.

At about 800% I felt it was enough to keep a positive donut/cash flow without too much effort. But I pushed to 1000% as a personal goal. I just don't see the reason to keep pushing at this point. And like you, I bought a few Knight Boats! Just looking at them makes me want to hum the theme music for Knight Rider!

Also, I don't want to have to grind hard anymore. Having a larger multiplier available means I can generate whatever I require in a timely fashion. Large amounts quickly or I can relax and easily make a small amount basically without trying. I can always lower my my multiplier in seconds, not so much for raising it by any meaningful amount. The 2000% club thread has a good record of my progress to date. I'm on hold at the moment while I work my way through all the non event premium items which I want. My 0.02

The whole question of enough is a personal one. What works for you may not for me, or vise versa.

I'll make north or 700 donuts today. Is that enough? I'd say No. You might say... Why surely you can't spend that many donuts, right? Sure, at the moment I can't, but there's always tons of content coming, and i'd like to get my donut reserve to the desired number ASAP.

Making 100 donuts a day is a reasonable number, but not if I have to work hard to get them. I'd rather be capable of lots and slack down to a little :)

Me, I want it all & I'm willing to push to get what I want. >:)
Technically I started with Winter 2014 event - got the elf cannon & had no clue about what to do. I gave up & came back during Valentines 2015 & have played hard ever since then - in large part due to the information I've found in this forum & LPN's site.
I have high expectations for myself & like to be challenged. There are no more levels, so it's up to me to set goals for myself:

get multiplier to 3000% (currently 2038.22%)
have 1500 each SH crafting item (currently 750 each)
after achieve multiplier, takes donuts well above current reserve of 2000 donuts
visit neighbors at least 5 times a week during events and at least 3 times a week during downtimes
design town in a manner pleasing to me - multiplier items are incorporated as part of design or hidden
play hard & play often & have fun

Wow @kymagirl you make me feel like a real slacker. I can't say I really have any goals for the game. I just play. Goals seems like work to me and I don't want to really work at a game. I will continue to play and be amazed by the effort others have put into the game. :smile:

I'm just over 1000% and already feeling like this is enough. Even buying everything I want from this event I don't feel any need to increase my donut production since it is more than sufficient. I'll still gleefully buy new multiplier items but I'm not going to horde any of the high multiplier items anymore.

I'm not sure of the desired percentage, but I know what my goal is.

I have about ~~205~~ 220 characters and still have the 1-hour premium task of "Hike Up a Mountain to Complain" for Kwik-E-Mart Headquarters. I'm pretty good at remembering to get everyone employed within an hour of their finish many, many times a day. Everyone gets an 8-hour job overnight (with the exception of The Parson and Fatov, who each start 12-hour jobs around 7-8PM).

I'll know when I've got enough bonus when each 1-hour job cycle results in a donut window. Right now, each job cycle nets about 60% of an XP cycle and my bonus % is about ~~1340~~ 1347 not counting SH.

I like to set personal goals for myself as well but now that I've reached them... I have, admittedly, slowed down a bit. My only current daily active pursuit is trimming/pruning my town to increase the cushion between my game and the constant max-limit pop-up :/

I'm around 1200% and that works for me. If I push I can over 150 doughnuts a day while not losing cash. I have a large enough reserve now to get everything that is released and still maintain an emergency fund of doughnuts.

if you can play every 4 hours 600-700 is enough. there is just so much content ea can throw at you before being called overgreedy.
unless you want it all and you are overgreedy. (or a fan of high numbers)

I'm closing in on 3500% and should reach it within the next few days. It was a personal goal I set for myself and now that I'm there, I think I'm going to really ease up. With my donut reserve (and replenishing it after I use it), I can comfortably purchase any premium item that comes along. So, for me, my game has a great balance right now and any higher bonus percentage would just be more frosting for the cake.

This is my goal as well - for all 5 of my games, while still enjoying designs. I have one at over 1000%, the others in the low 800's, but still haven't reached the above sweet spot.
