They should have removed decorations and made you buy those with cash. Then the other prizes can only be redeemed once. After you've redeemed all prizes then for every 500 eggs you get cash or a donut or something.

That looks about right. My Easter fences now surround about 1/3 of my town and the only two good things I've gotten is the Banana Dictatorship building and the Egg Council guy. I think it's rigged like the Christmas Chance Wheel was, and I said this on another thread, we will get WHAT they want us to get WHEN they want us to get it. I'm not spending anymore donuts on this. Save your money. :)

It is BS. Here's a copy-paste from reddit user Dove_Of_Doom about this event.-According to an article on TSTOTopix, to be guaranteed all the prizes available in all three boxes you have to buy at least 81 of each box. At 500 eggs per box that means you have to collect up to 40,500 eggs of each color. That's right. 40,500 blue eggs and 40,500 pink eggs and 40,500 golden eggs.But wait, there's more. To collect golden eggs you have to win them in blue and pink boxes, and the most you can win from a box is 300. You have a roughly 50% chance of winning 300 golden eggs from appropriately colored boxes, and it would take 135 wins to collect 40,500 gold eggs. That means it would take roughly 270 boxes which would cost 135,000 eggs of the color that is actually rarer and harder for you to acquire. You will also win golden eggs in increments of 100 from the other colored boxes roughly 50% of the time, and I rounded up those odds to simplify the math, so these numbers are admittedly approximate. The likelihood of winning golden eggs in either increment is actually 45%, slightly worse. It's also technically possible to win everything much sooner, but the odds of landing on the unique prizes are as low as 2%. To be absolutely sure you get all the golden prizes you will need a ridiculous amount of eggs.I think these numbers demonstrate what a losing proposition playing this event without spending money is meant to be. Previous events made an effort to balance premium content with free content, and the prizes could be won through diligent play alone. Not this time. What we get with Easter is a campaign to gouge players, and it is not fair to anyone.EDIT: Including today, April 17, you would have to average 5,000 rare colored eggs a day to collect the 135,000 needed to win enough golden eggs to ensure you win all golden prizes.-Ridiculous.

insane... and on TOP of all of that, on my Galaxy Note3, the game crashes soo much I can barely play the event! let along the game itself.. trying to set my ppl results in crashing every 5-6 ppl.. ive got 54 ppl.. thats bs!

Seriously starting to irritate me. Getting nothing but ponds and fences. Way to much time for basically 0 reward. I've been playing for almost two years and this is by far the worst event ever. This even tops whacking day and not being able to whack snakes in anyone else town but my own.

Slightly annoyed also...100 gold eggs, 2 beach towels w/ umbrellas, 3 fences, fence gate, 300 gold eggs...

Hoping it will get better but at this pace I feel I won't have a chance for the cool stuff...sigh :(

Btw, I wanted Crazy Cat Lady, so I was set to spend 3 bucks on the scratch-r, to get the 18 I needed to push me up to 180 that I needed. On my 2nd spin I hit the jackpot of 100 donuts. Next day in my weekly mystery box I got 30 donuts.

In short, I won before I even started this event and all EA got and will get from me is 2 bucks. Buying eggs is a sucker bet.

unlike you I spent $25 on donuts I don't regret it in the least you know why because it's less than an hour of work. At my pay scale.

I just want the ability to purchase the rare/premium content in each colored box just like it was available last Halloween Event.

I have hit the yellow box about 4-5 times and only got fences and 1 building.
I predict and willing to bet money that half way into this event there will be an update that will magically "FIX" the percentage odds of getting good prizes just like every single event update. They do this on purpose to make everyone spend money to buy donuts in the first week or two... It's a smart scam but not suttle.

After you spend 500 eggs the prizes spin just like the wheel, only you do not see a wheel. It is the same process and I do not like it.
I prefer a progression to get the prizes, not a stupid wheel. I guess EA makes more money off wheel events so now we have another wheel event only you do not see a wheel, but it is there spinning Everytime you spend 500 eggs, do you agree?

Just chill. It will work itself out. I didn't spend any donuts and in three days I've already opened 19 boxes. (11 blue, 6 pink and 2 gold). I haven't gotten much but knowing the odds based off the files I'm not expecting anything for awhile. Don't spend your hard earned money yet. At least give it some time before you make that decision.
