- Just read what @knighthunt438 wrote above. If anyone cant see the pattern there, I dont know what to tell you.

In that case their "random" number generator is entirely predictable! :)
Not by @sjsebayacc131 in their initial post on this thread evidently! :)- I can't remember who posted it, but there are 3 patterns to the mystery boxes. Regardless of which pattern you are getting, it averages about 8 donuts per 1% increase, assuming you reinvest the 10 and 30 donut boxes into more mystery boxes. It is definitely not random, the only thing random is which of the 3 patterns you will get.
- If they are truly predictable (and I don't know, been a long time since I've bought any, and I don't tend to buy in lots) you may expect EA to "fix" that, now that they've been made aware of the "problem".
Meanwhile, we still have missing character tasks... "4kidsandacatdog;c-1659205" wrote:

It's 2 long sequences that alternate after 8 iterations of each (approximately 800 mystery boxes). The sequences are themselves made up of 8 shorter patterns of 6-7 prizes that repeat in a fixed order.- The last time I think I received a premium character from a mystery box was when they gave you one after visiting seven days in a row. Now when I buy them the biggest thing I can hope for is the Itchy & Scratchy Show sign. What I mostly get is Chalmers' car or a stupid bomb shelter. At least you can sell them. I love donuts, but how many bloody Lard Lands do I need. Plus they're unreliable.
Anything you can't sell should be able to put toward your multiplier.
Ok. I'm done with my rant. "squintessa;c-1659224" wrote:
Even if there is an established pattern, they are still advertised as random so I personally wouldn't expect a refund if things don't turn out as you'd like.
So true. Any guy or gal at EA would have given the same answer to the op."shoskin;c-1659246" wrote:

FYI, The news vans are 2%, the billboards are 1%. Also the Lard Lads earn money. I started a Lard Lad farm. Just a suggestion.
