Need help making a decision.

Mate, redesigns take ages! But they are really fun
It's a tough one. I loved my original town but I felt it had been limited by the land I had. Therefore it seemed logical to redo it.

If you decide to, my main tip would be to use 24hr tasks and just concentrate on redesigning.

A new sf will only be good for practicing 3d designs

So..... 2 go for it! You've got a panorama to copy anything you want to keep
  • Thanks guys. I have been doin redesigning in the past. Fixing sections I didn't like, etc. But the idea I have is major. It's the entire Sf. If it works out, I think it will look great, if not....I might just get so frustrated ill quit TSTO for awhile...

Defo try and do a panorama and you'll see what I mean. Each individual section looks great, lovely detail, then bam! Panorama dull as dishwater!
  • Thanks Timothy for your support! :D

Kuroashicook - great suggestion on the blue print. Will definitely consider it.
  • I did a complete redesign after Whacking Day. I wish I had done as suggested and made a blueprint because I found some parts really easy to do - I had tons of inspiration - and other parts I just didn't know which way to go. I also found that my inspiration trailed off towards the end so the parts I did last are not as nice as the parts I started with. I guess I have a good backbone though so when I start to make further changes it hopefully won't be so big.
I think there are three really good suggestions here - take pictures and make a blue print and then go for it
