- I would like if they offered more land all around the city  but at least the areas for Squidport is good enough. I hope it comes soon!!

Squidport will include (I think) 2x13 rows of land for you to expand out to sea with. It will cost you roughly $2million.
1 row of land, 2 rows of water. $2,025,000 total cost.- stevieortNew SpectatorI have been playing since August and have yet to purchase the final row and a half. I like my Springfield as is and am no hurry to get those final plots until there are new buildings to place (i.e. the long rumored Rainier Wolfcastle mansion). Don't need nor want the land for additional houses as my Springfield currently pays off around $100k to $120k a day. Right now it's closer to the latter as I have my characters going back and forth between 8- and 12-hour tasks while I complete the "Herman" story line.
In the meantime, I've almost got $8MM in money and counting. Bring on Squidport! - I'm at level 30 I have still to buy all the land.

it's not so much about the money as being too lazy to do all the redesigning that buying more land would necessitate. Eventually though.- mwdaltonNew Spectator

Are we going to be able to place non-squidport items on the boardwalk? Or place squidport items off the boardwalk??
If not, does the expansion mean much??
Yeah, I assumed that only the 1 row (or column, whatever) of land would be any use for non-Squidport items. - Can't understand why everyone is out if land, I've been playing since the game came out and I've got plenty of land left.

Because some people have huge lakes, huge (empty) parking lots, and big drawings/art work using washer/dryers and flowers......oh, and big hedge mazes.....they think this is etch a sketch and not a town building game........
Lol agree, I automatically assume when people complain about lack of land, that they farm or used to.emmcee1 wrote:

I need more land :P I have no farms but have everything spaced out nicely, so if I re-designed the town then I probably could free up some more space.....cant see me re-designing in full tho far too much hassle
