Neighbor handshakes

I have had a handshakes and the atomic thing (not sure what it's called) on the same building.

Yup, at least one of my neighbours keeps leaving handshakes as well. The thing is, I don't think it lets you visit neighbours if they've updated but you haven't, so the people who are leaving handshakes must have updated, they just haven't reached the point where they can collect event currency yet. Or they're just ignoring the update. I think that's the case with my neighbour, because I know him in real life and during the CoC he told me he was ignoring the event to focus on leveling up. Eventually I talked him into just building the damn castle. :P

...And I just checked, he FINALLY has some rods.

Yup, that can happen. Just like you can have the atomic symbol and the dollar sign above the same building.

They're not collecting even items, they're collecting their normal cash, XP, and FP. They must have updated though otherwise they couldn't get into your town. They just haven't reached the stage where they can collect event currency yet.

I like getting several FPs from the same building :P

I am under the assumption that they may have hit neighbors before they reached the point of earning currency thus forcing them to wait a day to earn...
