New idea: Springfield Heaven?

My thought is: as rarely as I go to Krustyland, I don't need to develop another landscape that I'm never going to use after the event ends. I feel especially strongly about this considering how frequently the game uses item collecting and crafting now. It's not a bad idea, I just envision it being Krustyland with clouds, and for some reason factories like are found in Springfield Heights.... and all of the tasks are done by characters you get in the first 15 levels.

Unless they put all the Phil Hartman-voiced characters there... suddenly I'm all for it!
  • I share your opinions. Krustyland is the best proof that this idea could go wrong.

Then what if everything you do in Heaven has effects on "earth" ? I´m not a religious person, but you know what i mean :D
  • At first I like the idea.
But to be honest I'm afraid it will just end like another Krustyland.
Krustyland had a lot of potential, but EA kind of abandoned it early on.
Then I look at my own Krustyland I can see that I did build everything that is available in Krustyland and it only takes up around 10% of the available space where.

Where is a lot of Springfield only event buildings that I think would fit a lot better in Krustyland.
EA should really let us place more things in Krustyland.

Overall I think it would be better for the game if EA made better use of the areas that is already in the game before adding another.

I think the biggest problem with Krustyland is probably the way it was added to the game.
It just takes too long to load then you want a quick visit to Krustyland.
It would have been a lot better for Krustyland if it had been added as an area right outside main Springfield, just like Springfield Heights

EA could still move Krustyland next go the south or east of main Springfield if they wanted to.
I can't think of a way of making a natural transition to a Heaven area.
  • I do visit Krustyland, but I don't feel we need more areas like that to visit.

Not into this idea too much personally....... I like the way the heights was attached better, and I don't really need celebs beore I even have all the people who actually are in SF
  • I really don't know about this idea. I like KL, but I still never remember to go there. It would just be another thing I would forget about.
  • Not a fan personally, as others said I don't want another KL type area. I wouldn't even like another SH type area but if they were to add another area another SH area is what I'd want, something attached to the main town. Could be in the ocean if it's some kind of ocean event or north of SH etc so not out of areas.

But ideally I'd just like to continue to see events like monorail or stone cutters. Cool fun events that add new stuff but not entire new areas for me to worry about and eventually ignore.
  • We don't need anymore separate maps. They will end up just like Krustyland

Expansions ala Squidport & Springfield Heights is the way to go.

Besides, there's not much they can add to a Heaven area.

  • The problem with KL isn't that it's in a different area, it's that they won't let you do anything with it. If they would ease up on what decorations you CAN'T use, and let you have far more freedom, I think it would be a lot of fun.

All trees, hedges, shrubs, holiday decos, event decos, etc. should be able to be used in KL. That would actually be fun.
