The snake thing is only until the 9th of May. Once you get the snake rocks it will make 10 snakes every 4 hours. Other than that u have to use donuts too speed stuff up.
SAVE YOUR DONUTS if you won't be able to buy more with real money. When I first started playing I wasted donuts speeding up buildings and stuff. Also go to the menu where you can buy donuts and look at the top right corner, I don't remember exactly what it looks like but there's a thing there that asks if you want to have it confirm that you want to spend Donuts. Click yes.
I wasted even more donuts when I got to tapping fast and spent them on accident before they had that button.
