No handshakes

I've been visiting you regularly and I see your handshakes in my town everyday. Thank you for being a great visitor!

What I noticed this weekend was a huge drop-off from people who are usually very, very faithful about visiting.
Saturday morning I had only a few visitors and that night was absolutely nothing! Never had that before!
Sunday - only five people stopped by.

Sometimes I'm getting notifications but then no handshakes...then handshakes but no notifications.

I been getting handshakes but on a lot of buildings where there is no handshakes, names pop-up when clicked on...

We may be onto something. I'm Virgo and get your handshakes regularly. Will now look for neighbours who are earth signs and also investigate the efficacy of sacrifices. I'll try chickens but if someone can try first borns that would be great.

A WEEK? Good grief. (And when I say "Good grief" I mean "Well, crap." )

Now, we have a downward spiral. If I'm not getting your handshakes and you're not getting my handshakes, then we'd be kinda foolish to keep doing rounds. (And when I say "kinda foolish" I mean "utter morons") ... but if we stop doing rounds, and other people do the same thing, then we won't see any handshakes because nobody is doing rounds, and we won't know whether we are getting zero handshakes because nobody is visiting or if we're getting zero handshakes because it's broken.

My head hurts. I've decided that only an "utter moron" would go have three Twinkies right now. And, of course, since people over in the conspiracy game thread are dropping like flies, and today is our Day of Silence, it's 100 times worse.

... rushing toward "That Room With The Coffee Maker In It" (aka "the kitchen") to get Twinkies.

I feel terrible, but I've stopped visiting regularly. I visited on Saturday and Sunday, but not yesterday. And I think I skipped Friday. Don't recall.

FIRST: Have no reason to believe anyone is GETTING my handshakes.
SECOND: There's no Friendship Prize at the moment, so neighbors aren't missing much if I don't visit.
THIRD: They can still visit my town if they want to, and hopefully get some donuts.
FOURTH: Crashes constantly during visits.

When I visit someone, I DO get my money. (With over $16 million in my "bank", who cares?) I ASSUME the same thing is happening to others.

So, if an event DOES start, and the benefit is gained by visiting OTHER towns, then that would work. But if it's based on what we collect from people visiting US? Then I am TOTALLY ticked off!

I may do visits today. I HATE THIS. I usually visit every day from my main town. (And during events, if it helps, I do visits from my feeders.)

This is really aggravating. :evil: :evil:


NOTE: I usually visit my town first thing when I get up in the morning (around 6AM), once in the mid-day and once before bed. Yesterday, I visited ONE TIME (after noon), and haven't visited yet today (It's after 10:00 AM).
