I've just checked and i've still got it in my list of crops, have you tried logging out/logging back in just to see if it refreshes it and shows up? It should be under the Tomacco as a 4hr task :)

Quick update!
So my silvertongue finished after 4 hours instead of 8, but now the GMO pomatoes are back at the farm! Must have just been a temporary glitch or something.
