Had over 600 donuts ... A few days ago, I was using the Unemployment office to send my people (about 90) on a 12-hour job. I accidentally double tapped the tab. Somewhere the confirm donut spend got turned off. So when I double tapped I hit the rush all jobs this spent all by donuts. Sent in a help request, EA says (more or less) says too bad here is 20 donuts for the inconvenience caused.So I will not be spending any more money on this game. Too bad because I have been having fun tapping way.

It gets turned off sometimes from an update, this has probably happened to just about every long time player at one time or another.

I just had this happen to me like two or three weeks ago. I lost like 430 donuts. First time its happened to me also. I wasnt very happy about it. But I was at fault. I feel everyone should atleast have one courtesy refund of atleast half the donuts lost though.

Its a painful, but good lesson to learn: check your donut confirm option regularly!!

@Nov1964 Yes it is a very expensive lesson and one many players have learned the hard way. Players have varying success getting compensation from EA, so you may try again. So after pleading my case one more time I got this :

Please let me share that all in game purchases are full and final and there is no way to reverse the action. If possible for us, we surely have done this for you. However, we can't do that. The best we can do here is we can forward a feedback to the game developers that there is be a permanent confirmation button in the game or the in game setting shouldn't be changed after update in the game

To summarize this, we informed you that we can't add the donuts as all the in game actions are full and final.

Being a new play I didn't know this. This was a very expensive lesson to learn.

It happened to me twice, but, the cancel button also didn't work either time, so in reality, it's yours and EA's fault. Since then, I've changed the feature to ask me first.

If the confirm is turned off by an update then it absolutely is EA's responsibility. It's not like they're sending you a free copy of The Sims or paying for your house to be repainted. They know it's a thing.

There's a lot of times where the "Spend Donuts" thing pops up in inconvenient places that somebody might mis-click on.
