Not enough content updates

It's good to take breaks away from the game, and 24hr tasks will do you the world of good when you're a little bit bored of it.

  • It is a set and forget game, it's not a game to play full time like a console or pc game. You play this whenever you have a spare 20mins. Plus it's a free game, any content for free is great if you ask me.
  • I think that was the expectation of the developers in the beginning, but mobile gaming has moving goal-posts.

People who play mobile games that are compelling, play them throughout the day. I found myself playing this game for a long time every day, throughout the day. I enjoy it and would play more if the devs developed more content.
  • Sometimes there is new content every two weeks. What the eff do you expect? Amazing. It's a friggin casual game, dude. Not here to play 6 hours a day. Jesus.
  • We r starting to slowly run out of main characters as it is, i think this game has a year left of good quality content, from there noone knows what will happen.

Yep agree 100% there. That's why iam so hesitant on buying donuts and when I do it's quite rare.
  • Considering the vast amount of content the game already has, and the fact lately we've gotten updates on average every two weeks, which is far more often than the vast majority of apps/games, I have to say I think the OP is flat out wrong. I also think they're missing the point of these mobile games in expecting long-term play from it. It's specifically designed to be played in short spurts once or twice a day (unless you're sending your characters on one-hour tasks all the time, but the story quests with each new level update often use 8, 12, and 24 hour tasks).

Also I gave Tiny Death Star a try and hated it. Much prefer Tapped Out.
  • I recently looked at the "real" map of Springfield, and I couldn't believe the huge amount of buildings that are still left for the phone app. I think that, paired with non-main characters could keep the game pumping money for a while to come still.
