Not getting my "spooktacular" bonus boxes?

I did not read all the posts but I will point out that if you are OUT of your town when you pass the 2000 doughnut point EVEN once, when you return, ALL counts start from that point.
So:

10,000 - 12,000, if I am in someone else's town and I go to 12,005 when I go back to MY town, the count for the next 2000 does not start at 12,000; it starts at 12,009.

If you are out of your town and pass the 2k mark, it will just "waste" goo. ONCE you do it however you can not "fix" it in any way.

It has nothing to do whether you are out of your town or in your town. The counter doesn't start again until you collect your donut bonus. Whether it's 1 over or 250 over, whether you are in your Springfield or not.

I just had it occur to me. I was visiting friends, went back when I thought it would be triggered. At the time it was not, the counter said 1976/2000. So I visited 3 friends, got 26 Goo (5x3 + 6x3 or something like that. When I returned there was a prompt for gremlins and I could of swore there was a second prompt. I closed the prompts and no bonus box. I checked the ticker, and saw 2/2000.

Just submitted a ticket to EA.

Ditto, except I closed the task book. And it hasn't even been a question if I'm at home when I hit the 2000 goo.

Woke up to a response. EA granted me some donuts---- 5. More than 3, so that was nice. They also said it was a huge problem that many players are having, I believe they mentioned it would be fixed this week.

Urgh. Just happened to me again! And my case from last week still hasn't been resolved - everybody else is getting their donuts credited to them and I keep being told that they're sending it to a "higher department". :evil:

You might try playing with the sound on. When I'm visiting neighbors and hit the bonus total I get an audial warning.

Sound is always on. I got the audio, but nothing when I returned to my map. Tried rebooting the game and the phone. No joy.

What a drag! Good luck with your open ticket with EA.

I've been having problems with this too. It worked fine until this week. :(
