Yes!! I wanted to hide my tablet from myself tonight just to get away from the notifications. I'm so sick of the 2 - 4 hour retasking of everyone for minimal gains. I'm highly addicted to this game but feel like I'm on the brink of an overdose if I continue the insanity of this slow event. But I can't stop... :(

I don't mind that this event is more difficult, but I must admit it is a bit overwhelming. We have to deal with so many characters going on tasks of varying lengths, and we have to worry about leaving some of them free or storing them to do Cecil's tasks, which always start at midnight not at our convenience, and they're unpredictable lengths of time. So, yeah, overwhelming.

Aye, feeling decidedly underwhelmed with this event.To me, the tapping is so boring for tiny rewards, the prizes are all pretty meh thus far, defo not me fave event.Hopefully things may improve as the event unfolds but I have to admit I'm not holding me breath on that score

Exactly. I got my mutant pet plant yesterday and am excited for Act 2. Totally digging the event so far. Did anyone notice we also got a tie-in yesterday?

The idea for the event is fine, but the dynamics are terrible. You literally have to play every 2 hours just to try to keep up with the tiny amount of fertilizer or corn you are getting, with prizes set at a ridiculously high level. Most of us I would hope have jobs and a life and can't be playing a game every 2hours, but has to just to not fall behind. And there isn't even anything going on in the storyline. Just re sending people to the corporation. Seriously, how is that fun? At least make the tasks 12 or 24 hours if they need the content spread out. At least then people can keep their jobs.

I think the event is fine. We have plenty of time to get all the prizes. So no complaints here.

I don't feel like I "have to" do anything. This is idle tapping for me, and I'm half way to my fertilizer goal for the farmer's market. I'm not sure why others feel like Kang is taking a whip to their backsides.

To me this just feels very casual.

I like the event and don't find it monotonous. Non-event times are monotonous. Its the same as every other event tap, task, and collect. Give us free stuff.

I'd like to see some sort of better neighbor interaction but again that is every event.

OP, how would you change it for the better?

I've found the event very well setup. Although the payouts are small they have spaced them out almost perfectly. At first it was a bit annoying until you look at the count down for act 2. We are 4 days ~15 hours out currently (april 23 @ 12C) I'm about 2K (14143 spades) out from getting the Pet Mutant Plant (16000 spades). I play quite religiously, level 46, and have I don't know how many characters..45-50?

My daughters level 11 SF is doing just as well. Leve 7 Research facility. She's about to unlock the final corn (9212). She has a tiny SF with ~10 characters. The majority of the time so far I've forgotten to tap for her.

To be able to get that close with two very different SF's is fantastic in my book. While my daughters account may not unlock EVERYTHING, at this point she's had some fun and picked up 2 money making buildings.

I agree, this event is boring and tedious at the moment. There's no way I'm setting tasks every two hours for the next six weeks. ZZZzzzZZZzzz
