That will depend hugely on who you ask, for me I'd find it an honour if someone liked something in my town enough to incorporate it into there's. others however would feel te complete opposite because...

Pfft. If you can find anything worth copying in my SF, go at it. Although I have used the barriers in KL to create a queuing pen (although not quite on the scale of the picture above).
If you've ever seen me post to someone who complains that other peoples SF's aren't pretty enough, you'll know that I don't really care what peoples towns look like. That doesn't mean that I don't appreciate a nice one, but at the same time I know not everyone needs/wants/has time to do theirs. Each to their own. But if you're going to put your "original" idea (there's no way of knowing; you can't be friends with everyone who plays) into play in your town where you have visiting neighbours, you're kind of relinquishing your rights to it.
