- I actually like the assets of the event, the bunnies are fun and most of the prizes are nice. The problem is more along the lines of execution.
If they would have done it like the '13 Halloween or Christmas(with adjusted odds) events I would love this event. - I liked what they did with Whacking Day. I wasn't able to get all the prizes, but I had fewer friends then. They should go back to that and add the items for donuts if you have trouble through the free gameplay.

I think the setup for Halloween 2013 was pretty much perfect. The ghosts weren't too hard to spot, and the system for dropping gremlins was easy.

This was my first big event in tapped out (I started around the end of June last year). It was a blast.
That was my first event too. Really enjoyed it as well as the system of awarding prizes. I'm probably one of the few people who liked the wheel at Xmas . I know a lot of people complained about the randomness, etc., but with the other prizes, I thought it made for some nice extras and the spins weren't hard to come by.
Someone else mentioned a earlier event where players earned currency to buy the prizes they wanted. Wouldn't mind trying that.
I liked the trading valentines too. Tapping other peoples characters instead of buildings made for a nice change.- Positivity? I'm POSITIVE that this Event is the - worst - Event - everrrr!!
(C'mon - someone had to say it!! :P )
I'd agree on Halloween 2013 - think they got the formula right then. Xmas was OK (I got all items from the Wheel, so can look back fondly).
I'd probably rather a mix of Xmas & Valentine's Day - have a Wheel if you want, but put decorations etc. on there with a unique prize to win after getting 'em all (and make the odds roughly even!!). Put a guarantee of X spins on it if you want as well.
As far as the rest of this Event goes, I like the designs, I like the concept of community sharing for exchanging primary/non-primary colour eggs (even if it was poorly implemented), I like the new stores and plethora of characters. I just don't like the heavily-weighted random chance of getting items, and having minimum number of spins to get some prizes. - Never complained about WD. The 'EA is the greatest' people need to look in the mirror and stop generalizing everyone.
- It's not hard to be positive and freindly to others, won't cost ya nothing and you'll get it back. I can't see why people get upset over a free game, just don't play it of it works you up to much. If your not winning any prizes, you won't miss much then will you?

I think EA did right by instituting the FP system. The extra prizes and the donuts keep me visiting neighbors regularly even after events end.
I agree. I LOVE the friend points system. I had 2 friends before they started it and now I'm maxed out. lol. The prizes are great. Who would have thought we'd ever get Stampy? I certainly didn't. I would have thought he'd be too big (which he actually is the biggest character in the game now, according to the TSTO Wiki). Hopefully, Spiderpig will be the next prize added. *fingers crossed*

I agree with what you're saying for the most part. I do think that criticism is fine, as long as it's respectful and not hostile. I don't understand why some people flip out. Sometimes, one just needs to take a breath and put things into perspective. It's easy for some of us to get hot-headed on the internet (they've actually done studies on the relationship between anger and internet posting, lol). Some complaints are totally valid and I think that premium players who are giving money to EA have a right to complain when the product they paid for doesn't function correctly. It all comes down to HOW things are said and the specific circumstances, in my opinion. For instance, I totally understand the anger of people who lose their whole towns. I'd be pretty PO'd. It all depends on what the issue is I guess.Linkwick wrote:

I think this is a pretty fair assessment. The cool thing about the Christmas wheel was that most of the prizes cleared once you won them. You didn't keep on winning a bunch of (sorry to say) lame stuff. The repeats are what annoyed me about this event and the Valentine's wheel. There's nothing worse than consistently checking your town all day to get the box/spin only to get stuck with your 3rd or 4th lamppost or pond. I agree about the prizes. The prizes in this event were pretty cool. Shary Bobbins?! A dream come true. Now, if I can just win her instead of my 30th fence, I'll be happy as a clam.
