Camera position

Devs, loving gameplay so far. Please give us the option to move the horizontal camera position. I need my third person games to be centered, it's the only way I can really enjoy it and get immersed. The over the shoulder offset drives me up a wall.

Anybody else feel the same? Personally I'm waiting until they patch this in before I get invested. Hopefully it comes soon! šŸ‘

This. So much this. On my monitor, it's a 3 inch offset to the left (I measured it!) and it's driving me bonkers because I don't have a proper field of view to the right. I've been ambushed from the right a couple of times now.

Increase FOV a little to compensate.

Not a problem for me but I guess a hotkey to move camera from one shoulder to another is a better option than character at the middle. Many times you need to pick or investigate something on the ground (not to mention the walk path) and over the should is good but being able to choose which shoulder is even better.

It won't. The problem is literally the character being in the lower left corner of the screen. It's like partway through they decided to make a hack-n-slash, and then didn't follow through on that but left the character as-is.

I've seen the arguments about being able to "see things in the middle of the screen" but it doesn't track when they stick the UI right there, and whenever Rook opens a chest she moves so it's right in front of her anyway.

It's not a shooter so I don't understand why we needed an over-the-shoulder view. It's also killing my immersion.

  • I'm ok personally. I am just annoyed though when my guy somehow starts pointing the camera in a random direction (with no enemy in sight) after I kill an enemy.

See if this settings can help.

See if switching hem on and off makes any difference. With both OFF you should have full and absolute control over the camera. But also you will have to lock the target manually.  You can also try to fully disable Aim Assist.

  • Devs, any chance at all you can add this one setting for us? It's the only thing preventing me from getting into it. I'm begging here šŸ˜‚
