Yes the task is still there after finishing the quest line, think it's the 1hr task for Gerald.

This is the easiest casual event I've seen since I started playing three years ago.
You cant login once or twice a week and expect to collect all the prizes.

I have a family, a job, and go to school and I still finished five days early.
The prizes are based on the time spent in the game..if you dont get all of them, you havent spent enough time in the game :D

I have already earned 3 free donuts from the 4,000 extra pacifiers collected after Gerald.. Act 3 is easy.

I'm irritated at all these people saying the event's easy. I think there's something up with the event if some people can finish so many days early and some of us aren't expecting to see it come near completion. Bonus level ups shouldn't be easier than the last event unlock.

My neighbors' bears don't give pacifiers (at all), and much of the time my town doesn't even have bears to tap. I play more than I will admit and I'm not even to 23K pacifiers yet. All I know is that I'm not likely to spend 200 donuts on Gerald. :P

Hell, I've spent a couple hours straight doing Heights tasks (wondering if maybe they weren't spawning with the game in the background or something) and never saw a single bear show up in my town in that time. If it's not even one bear per two hours, it's no wonder I never seem to have bears to tap.

This is very odd, I've not read of anyone having this problem. Have you called Support? Reloaded your game? Sounds like there is a software problem going on. I'm curious to hear the solution after you talk to Support.

If this is what you had going on - and you're on the forum clearly - you should have known something was going wrong....... I would have contacted support - you could still try, but it may be too late for them to help in time.
Bummer if you do not complete, but if your game is messed up - it was fixable, not an issue with the over all event set-up. It wasn't "easy" but it was certainly easier than others have been and completing it for someone logging on 3 times a day as I do during weekdays - should have been doable.

I mightn't get Gerald in time and I have 2 questions:
1) How long do we usually get before we are forced to update to remove the event? I might hold on for a day and try get him
2) How many donuts would you consider Gerald is worth? I might just spend the donuts instead of risking not updating

No offense, but this was seriously like the easiest event/stage of an event I've seen since I've started playing (except maybe thanksgiving). I didn't put near as much effort into it as I did the first two stages of Christmas or Halloween and I finished with 6 days to spare.

Yeah, I picked up the slide factory and one character that added pacifiers, but she doesn't even add 50 a day no more than I play.

Sorry, just can't give this one to you. It was a cake walk.
