Osaka Flu?

I've now caught the flu, someone has been visiting and spread the germs.

I blame getting blood in the UK during the Mad cow scare. damn it. :|

Just as an FYI (lost the user's post to reply to). The Osaka Flu character-cloud in your town does not infect tourists walking around in your town. Watched it meet with a couple tourists and nothing happened.

Here's my guess - the higher your severity, the more contagious you are and the more people you can infect. So, you can probably still spread it at a lower severity, but you will not infect as many of your neighbours.

Also, once you have gotten the flu - I think the severity might increase with the amount of tourists you clear in your town (not sure if tapping buildings in neighbours towns increases it - haven't gotten to today's neighbours visits).

Not sure if I have gotten that right. But I think it sounds somewhat logical. :)

Yes - I was wrong about the tapping tourists in my own town increasing the severity. I checked and it does seem that clearing the pins left by neighbours increased the severity :)

Anyone not affected add me and I'll see what I can do.
