For anyone wondering about townies vs mafia, I was going to start it today, but its not the best time with all this 'limit/remove the off topic threads'

At least they are allowing OT-Hi threads. Although it seems kinda hypocritical if they are deleting Goodbye threads.

One good thing about the changes. They can get rid of the search option now. No one needs it, nothing moves in hours.

I've been a member here for quite a while now and with exception to the odd clown you come accross here, it's the most welcoming,helpful and freindly forum you can come accross. Not to be a douche, but really come on... what's the purpose of a goodbye-thread? Since I first came here, I have actually been visiting this forum pretty often, nearly every day in fact. First and foremost reading the name of the threads looking for what might be interesting info about the game. All the off-topic threads made this forum a mess. I can understand some off-topic-threads, but this forum was lately close to nothing but off-topic-threads.

I frequent quite many internet forums, but this is the only forum where people actually make goodbye-threads... I mean really? If you don't want to be here anymore, then just leave. The handful of people probably caring about that could get a pm, NO need to make any goodbye-threads!

Another point in relation to this, a goodbye-thread is kind of pointless anyway. As long as you are going to keep playing the game, you're probably not going to manage to keep away from this forum for long. You'll still need information about the game, and then this would be one of the best places to go.

Exactly and something needed to be done to tidy every thing up, I don't mind it now tbh.

Has Neo received bad publicity? For what? Either way, I believe he can handle it, as I think most mods on most internetforums should have a thick shell. I am sure they are bound to deal with some troublesome users from time to time, and I suppose they tackle it fine. Anyway, I can't see why NEO would deserve something like that, he's always helpful if he can be, atleast if you pm. He even answers quite fast usually. He'll shrug it off I guess.

Aside from that, I still stand by the fact that goodbye-threads are quite useless...

Why is that? If you have been on here for a while and have quite a few friends, I think it's just polite and courteous to say goodbye, instead of people going where is such and such? Couldn't even say goodbye. Sorry I disagree.
