No way, sega made much better quality consoles, just the quality of the actual console it's self was much better IMO, the only problem with dc is they released to early with hardly any games. Best thing about was you could download games of the net straight on a cd and it would work in the dc some needed a boot disk tho. It's graphics were way ahead like I said its still selling well in Japan. But its personal preference. Bet they don't have a Nintendo world like sega world in Japan and we used to have one here in Sydney too. Pretty sick, but yeah it's what you grew up with and exposed to first I guess.

Lets face it one company now makes a console where stroking a pony is considered a game and a handheld one which looks like the original Donkey Kong game except it screws up your eyes and the other now makes games for microsoft and sony. Hardly anything to boast about!

I've grown up playing both games. I always used to play Sonic and never could finish the game with Sonic, so ended up playing and finishing the game with Tails instead. Every Mario game that I have played I have completed and I would say Mario games are far more addicted then Sonic!

I grew up playing sonic and tails on my Sega :-) but now I prefer super mario 3d land on ds, so I'm 50/50
