Ok so I cheated cause this was driving me nuts and looked it up and found a Red Star, P balloon, power flower (in certain situations), invinvibility leaf, tanooki suit, and P acorn.

So I'm assuming you were thinking of one of the above which means you were missing some too : P

To take this away from Nintendo...
