OT: Snow! Snow!

Don't think I could live some where that cold that it snows. I like it hot in Adelaide to day it was 41 degrees celcius that's 105 Fahrenheit that's what I'm talking about. But that's not to say a snowy vacation wouldn't be nice. I all ways wanted to build a snow man.

Maybe? I haven't gone out yet to know!

If the snow got really bad here and they called the army out to help....they would properly get stuck and wouldnt be able to help anyway lol
  • I joke around that where I live we have the world's worst drivers....today they proved me right (sadly).

Wrecks abound around here but they are worst when the weather changes. They had two deaths today from the weather. One was on the Interstate when a person spun out and instead of moving out of the way, they decide to stand in the middle of the road and direct traffic. A person trying to get around them skidded, ran into them, and then got smashed by a tractor truck. The driver of the second car was killed instantly. They closed the Interstate for 5 hours and directed everybody to one of the side roads. Where they promptly smashed into one another again and another person was killed.

Sad day....sorry to be a Debbie Downer but it just makes me want to remind everybody that when you are involved in a wreck...for the love of God have the common sense to not cause another wreck by being so foolish.

The tractor trailer burst into flames and was carrying hazmat.

I love snow (and the cold) but am heading out to San Diego next week for 4 days and will enjoy wearing shorts, Tshirts.

I love snow too and miss it. I'm currently in the general San Francisco area. And while there's no snow, the entire CA coast has been cold - especially at night. It's dipped into the 20's along the coast, this includes San Diego. So while the day may warm up just enough for some lighter wear, I'd bring a jacket and a few warmer items for night.

Of course, when it's this cold, it means the skies are clear - so no snow. Have to go to the mountains for that. It snows there when it rains here.
