Pacifier Count - How goes the battle

Hmm, I guess I am quite a bit behind on pacifiers because I am currently at around 1100. I have not purchased the slide factory or Lucille. I am pretty disappointed that the other premium items I purchased during this event, such as Winter Burns Skin, Sophie, or the Duff Event Center, no longer pay out event currency.
I was spending time with friends at a cabin for NYE weekend with very limited access to the internet so that is part of the reason I am behind. But I am also miffed at the non premium ways of earning event currency. They should have a few different characters that still have tasks that earn event currency. There should be another freemium child that earns event currency in Act III, like Bart or Lisa, along with a premium child. Especially Sophie, since she is a child, she could have easily carried over to Act III.
But the part of Act III that may irritate me the most are the neighbor visits. Why do we even have the option of tapping buildings in some towns instead of bears? I have made that mistake a time or two. Sometimes I have to search for awhile before I find any bears. Now I am taking more time to find bears away from houses because I swear it seems like it taps the houses before the bears. That's just frustrating.
Anyway, I know most other people on the forum seem to think this is an easy Act. I am just stating the parts of the Act that have frustrated me. I know there are still 14 days left, so I will wait and see how it all plays out, it is still early.
