I don't think you will get it. Or not in the near future. The collider (together with the black hole and the mayan god) was given because of the speculated doomsday at December 2012. And since there is currently no other doomsday planned, I don't think it will return soon...

Its a bit of a tricky one, really. I think if they did decide to bring older content back, the old players who have had the items since the beginning should be rewarded some unique decoration to prove they've had them all along (rather than purchased them new).

OK so I have the black hole, particle collider and the like. For those who desperately want them, the black hole does precisely nothing. The particle collider has no tasks associated and provides a small income like a house. They are more just for decoration. I started playing too late to get the Duff racer and for a while it was something I really wanted. I've collected everything since then and although it's nice to have, an awful lot of it is simply decoration to fill your limited space town. One thing is for certain. EA will release plenty more old tat for us mugs (players) to purchase or collect. Play for another year and then join us at Tapped Out Anonymous. We can stop, honest, we just don't want to right now !

I'm honestly shocked the Mapple store didn't return. I already have it but I know of MANY people that are still without. The Super Collider and black hole items are pretty cool though. It'd be nice to see it make a return for those still missing them.

Have the Collider and the Black Hole, but I tucked the black hole behind some trees or a building ages ago to get it out of my inventory... and now I have absolutely no idea where I put it! Even making buildings/decorations visible and invisible hasn't helped!

"Back by popular demand." Not exactly a new concept. They'll come back. EA isn't dumb enough to pass up a dollar when somebody is begging to spend it.

The vast majority of people playing this game have never heard of the forum, and their friends list consists of real life acquaintances or at least buddies from other games. They see one another's towns and if something comes available that they have, they'd be excited to tell their friends the good news. Heck, most of them wouldn't even care that they were limited time in the first place.

Very few people get any happiness from keeping a real life friend from getting the same stuff that they know will bring their friend joy. In fact, lots of people get lots of happiness seeing their friends get something that will bring joy. Most people don't see any happiness in depriving friends of something just because they had it first.

EA is sitting on a goldmine of people like that. Even here on the forum, where most of the friends on our list are people with whom we have no personal connection, when this issue comes up the trend is strongly in the range that starts with "definitely offer the old stuff." And ends with "what do I care? Let 'em have it."

EA won't make a business decision that does not maximize their profits. Some people will resent it. But a lot of us already resent NOT getting the stuff. And guess which group EA sees waving those real life dollars around, looking for someone to give them to?

They'll be back. Don't know when. But they'll be back.

I have two...
A glitch occured when I built Dirks apartment where the first one was placed. Had them both out collecting money/xp, but when I placed one in the inventory it got stuck there. (Already built message)
I also have two crashed UFOs there. Kinda annoying, but no biggie. If I could send you my extra one, I would.
btw. Happy for the limited stuff I have, like the Duff racer, but would not mind at all if everyone got 'em.
