Patch 1 released. requires store update 4.39.1

Thanks EA!.... yet to tidy up my town and bring everything back out of storage, but sky finger monument works, IRS building out, job manager fine and spent quite a while tasking people back to my walking KEM... hopefully they have isolated the cause and can tweak it to stop it happening to others....

Same for me. Crashes at least once during collection every time still too, but not complaining about that since my game has been otherwise playable.

I still can't get on to the game, send reports every time I try and emailed EA again for any news. Does anyone know anything more?

I've been playing with my iPhone 8, now its back to the much larger kindle screen.
Having been forced to play on my phone, I can see a big difference in the smoothness and speed of the game.
Must be the kindle OS isn't as compatible as my phone's.

I wasn't aware of a patch. I will get the game back as soon as I can to see if it makes a difference. But will it matter???? I never was able to even start the event....so even if I can finally star it this LATE...I've missed half of it, not to mention I think I missed Gils deal a long time ago. Unless his deal lasts until the event is over?

That sucks, if you have a decent PC you could run Tapped Out in the Bluestacks android emulator (recommend at least 8GB RAM / Quad core CPU).

Also there should be a way to update the OS on your Samsung tablet even if it means installing a custom ROM, It's unfortunate Samsung always stops updating older devices even when they're perfectly capable of running a newer OS.

The oldest device I have here is a Samsung Note 2 w/ 4.4.2 KitKat and Tapped Out is running on it without any issues.

FYI Bluestacks is unauthorized by EA. As such it is against the rules to mention it on the open forum.
@dgsmobile4152 Make sure that youhave enough space on your device. May be as much as 5 gigs needed to be free.
Make sure your device OS is updated and clear your cache. Maybe a clean install would help, if you are not anonymous.
If it still won't work, contact EA and let them know what devices you are unable to get it to load on.
