Patch causing problem?

i got the same problem, and since the update, or since my girl friend added me, i disconnect every 45 seconds . I cant tell what caused this, cause she added me right before the halloween patch. But my girl can play without disconnect and visit my Springfield, playing on the same iPad . Closing the app and/or deleting and reinstalling it, switching iPad off and on and updating iOS or the app did not help!
