- admittedly, i wasn't happy when it was releasd but have kinda gotten over it. The one thing that really bugs me about it is the $100 purchase. Thats a lot of cash and have never bought a boat load and probably never will-definitely not for a statue :D
items may be released later for donut purchase and if not-oh well is my view of it now. it'll just be one of the few items i wont be getting
i just hope if they do this in the future that they don't include an item in the boat load category ;) - Castiel_ToukSeasoned NewcomerI didn't like it at first but since I love tapped out so much I decided to buy a few and I'm happy with that. Plus there permanent so there no rush into getting them.
- I wouldn't mind if you didn't have to buy everything individually.

I'd be willing to spend $10-15 dollars for everything but at 100 for a statue, 70 for a impound lot, etc... its not feasible. It's downright greedy
You're not spending $100 for just a statue. You're spending $100 to get 2400 donuts and also getting a statue.
These are donut bundles that some people buy. EA is tossing in a "freebie", they aren't being greedy.
It's not a required item to advance in the game. If someone is a completionist then you can't really blame EA for that.- I only bought the characters and the Winnebago

It's no different than other items that cost donuts in my opinion.
Sorry, but I don’t see how one gets to that conclusion. If this strategy proves to be the new norm, we’ll be looking back at this Shelbyville mini-event as a significant turning point in the way EA structures TSTO.- its NOT the new norm. this are permanent gifts for buying the packages instead of just donuts.
- It is what it is. I see it as a bonus. I buy donuts and farm some to. If they raised the price then I would be upset. But getting more for the same price, I don't l don't really see a problem. Just my $0.03 worth

You don't think there's at least a chance they'll swap out these prizes at some point? If this tactic is successful, I can't imagine they won't want to try it again.
This is a little annoying, but I've gotten over it as well. They need to make money. I'll probably even drop $25 for the characters, as I was planning to drop them a few dollars in the Scratch-R's every once in a while just as a token of appreciation. May as well buy the donuts instead. If they ever do a character for $50 or $100, though, forget it.- only ea knows but thefact that there's no limit in the data or on screen means it's permanent
