Pelt carry-over

Normally for these events, you have to be careful because event currency (in this case, pelts) will not carry over to the next stage.
For example, if you have 55/60 pelts until the next stage and you task all 6 characters, you will get credit for 60/60 pelts to complete the stage, but the extra 25 pelts will NOT be carried over to the next stage.
Can anyone confirm if this is the case this event? Do we need to carefully stagger these tasks?

    It is always my normal turkey that gets in the way. The only time I see it during the year is when we need to tap turkeys.

    I thought everyone knew. Usually when you have to tap something like this, be it robots, animal, bad guys etc. during an event there is a way to do this.
