- Thanks JoshJeerer, you actually answered all my questions in your unique kind of way.
Glad you had a good read of my post in the last thread you made and answered the questions I posed over there in this thread.
Good day to you my good sir. JoshSherer wrote:
It's getting ridiculous. When someone complains about the crappy 10 donuts we received for New Years, you have 50 EA apologists all defending them and saying "they didn't have to give you anything...be happy with what you got." I'm just going to flat out say it: I would have rather received 0 donuts than 10 donuts. Gifts can be insulting. Many of you are married or have a significant other. What if you gave her some crappy nothing gift. Maybe a few dead flowers. Would you say "Hey, I could have given you nothing! Don't be a brat, appreciate it!" No. What if your boss gave you a $100 raise after a year of working for them. Would you appreciate that since he didn't have to give you anything?
10 donuts is only a gift to freemium players. Back when I was a cheapskate like most of you, I was saving up for Kearney. 10 donuts would have given me a nice push. But now I buy boatloads. 10 donuts is nothing to me and won't get me anything worthwhile. A burning bush is 20 donuts, for example. I don't need white picket fences and pink flower pots. If I wanted 10 donuts, I'd buy a golden scratch off for $.99.
These gifts reward freemium players who don't help EA at all while insulting those like myself who put food on EA's employees' tables. I pay these guys and they reward you nobodies.
They need to start giving better gifts to the paying players. Maybe they should charge for a premium account or something. $5 per month would make sense...then us premium people can receive better gifts. If they aren't able to do that, they need to stop inflating the premium content every update or they need to provide more donuts from tasks or something else at higher levels to compensate for the insane inflation after each level update.
Also, the Christmas update is too long and the wheel is rigged. Both suck.
Anyone else hear Charlie Brown's teacher voice when ya were reading what Josh wrote? Or was it just me?- mwdaltonNew SpectatorThanks for the opinions, Josh. I'm sure the game developers will consider your feedback; we've seen improvement in other aspects of gameplay, and content, which may have been a direct result of feedback.

It's always sad to see egos take over and ruin a good thing.- You remind me of Marmite Josh...
Some love you and some hate you, but underneath that thick shell of yours we all know how soft and gooey your center is. - Josh, that premium account fee is a great idea. I would pay. I spend around $20-40 a month, depending on what's going on in-game... And I pay for my mom's premium stuff too. So, they're getting a ton of money from me as well. While, sure that 10 donuts was okay, I'd rather have had a building or character. Because 10 won't buy you anything but fences, etc.
If people don't complain or raise issues, things don't get fixed. I'm in an argument right now with a rep from EA. MWDALTON knows what I'm talking about.  I won't go into that.
Josh has raised many valid points and issues. Heck, I think they like him over at EA. I mean they integrated him into the game! Lol! You go, Joshie! Keep up the good work! ;) mwdalton wrote:

+1
- People are just jelous cause they didnt get mentioned in the game
- New year, same old whining. Yawn.
The repeated ending in the trolls post kind of reminds me of Cato the elder.
Well, well. Carry on. - You say you buy boatloads of donuts now, i need to point out thats your perogative, not EA's
But i have to say i do like your premium account idea (constructive)
