Petition: Static reset time for neighboring towns

Oh, and I've gotten more donuts from the recently added Challenges than I ever have from neighbor visits.

how do you get donuts from friend visits?

You have a chance of getting by clicking your friends houses...sometimes. It almost never worked when I started playing, then they raised the chance up where I was hitting about 3 bonuts a day (if I visited all 105 friends). Not sure where the odds are these days.

You have to have all friend prizes completed, then every neighbor action you have a .5% of getting a donut for every friend action.

I would really like this! Midnight server time would be good, although any static time would be fine with me since I am always forgetting what time I visited on the previous day. I was temped to vote "Cat", though. :wink:

I wish it would reset with the daily challenges. Load times are getting longer. You scream in frustration when you get to a neighbor with a countdown timer and you have to load the last two towns twice. The current system is so stupid.

Good point! It gets really frustrating when the countdown timer is at 0s! :evil:

This is YOUR POLL. This comment appears to contradict the very reason behind said poll.

Friend Visits are already a once-per-day thing. It is (to use your own words "a daily thing to get bonuses"). So, if you're "always forgetting" to do friend visits, why are we talking about this? Why are you asking for this static time change, if you don't want to take advantage of such an arrangement; i.e. visiting a given town on Sunday night at 9, then coming back Monday morning at 8? How is more friend visits in a given week (say) not the goal here?

And as for your comment about the Daily Challenges vs. Friend Visits for donuts - this has not been my experience. I realize that you say you keep track of all the donuts you obtain in your 3 towns on a spreadsheet, but I'm gonna disagree with your findings here. In fact, taken together, your comments appear to indicate that you don't visit 100+ friends in each of your towns every day; so - again - why are we even talking about this?

Well, DrummingBeard, you seem to be the odd man out on this, as it seems to be a good idea to everyone else who responded. So, we visit at 9:00 one night and 8:00 am the next day - it's still once a day. The static time would eliminate the time drift, which is hard to juggle.

This. Definitely this. Even if they timed it with the Daily Challenge clock that would be fine. I often find I have to skip a day due to my work schedule and the drift.
