I first bought all the land and then I redesigned my springfield section by section. I didn't want to put everything in storage at once, so I just put in a section at once (approx. 6-8 plots of land), and then I slowly started redesigning from there. Though, I must admit that I get bored with my springfield quickly, so I redesign certain sections relatively often
