Play store (android Update)

There are many changed bytes within this download. I don't know what they do, but they have the pleasant smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

well lol im talking the majority, most peaple can buy an android device with twice as mutch ram and all the other good stuff for a 3rd of the price MOST apple users pay.

Just in my observatuions, Android updates seem to be mentioned more often than iOS ones in this forum.

Not sure how prominent the issue was or if any other glitches were targeted, but that's one I can confirm this update fixed.

you couldnt get pie bombs till you finished clownface's job when the update hit...

yea thats quite rare that android is mentioned before I.O.S, talking whole internet.

Has the spawn rate for criminals decreased with this update? I'm hesitant to update in case it drops... am I being overly cautious?

I'd guess that, as there's no iTunes update, that it WAS related to the permissions.

The "extra" permissions are to access/save data on external storage on devices (eg. SD cards). I'm pretty sure that they asked for that previously, but maybe the store update rolled back that permission.

Google made changes to the permissions structure a while ago, so apps have to start asking specifically for what they need. For this memory one, it now only gives an app access to its own data on the external memory, not all things saved on there (like it used to).

If you want to see the specific permissions being asked for, scroll to the bottom of the app's page and tap on "Permission Details". It'll outline the exact permissions under those catch-all headings.

The update for the game is probably because they released an update for Android OS last night. Which I posted about but which SOMEONE locked because someone misunderstood my post and thought I was talking about an update for the game...

The OS update may only be for Lollipop (version 5). So if you don't get an update for your Android OS, you may not get a game update either.

My other EA game, Plants vs. Zombies 2, is also updating. And my device says it's going to take 2 hours! I hate having slow satellite internet...

I think the update fixed one issue aswell.
On my game the task of collecting carbon rods was still present when phase 2 was started and the task was open until the update came. No there are no task of collecting extra carbon rods
