Anyway, This is actually the MOST annoying part of this event for me. Having to consistantly log into my game throughout the day. While I do love the game, and would love to be able to play as much as required, my schedule basically alllowed me one login per day when I got home from work (around 9:30PM), which would leave me almost no time to do anything for this event.
Now I have to log in on my phone throughout the day, which has trouble handling the game reliably. Luckily, the phone does seem capable for now...
I really like the way this event is setup. You can either sacrifice time or donuts to complete it. I feel this is more than fair for both freemium and premium players.annettemarc wrote:
As an admitted occasional task-speeder-upper in the past, I was stunned to see it costs 40 donuts to speed up even those one-hour tasks from Number 1. Wow. THAT is a waste of donuts. Even for ME.
It costs the same amount to skip it from Number One's menu. No loopholes, I guess! (But yeah, way to much for me to spend. I only have 80 pink sprinklies left after buying all the stonecutters stuff.)A_KidAndHisCape wrote:

Why do you care? Just play the game for yourself, too many people get so concerned when they see neighbors that have completed the event already by paying for everything. If it bothers you just un-friend them.
Well, sounds like cheating not donuts to me....and I don't like people who hack their games....so indeed as said above..unfriend them (although I would care just like you  ).
My real life friend had 33k emblems on day 1. He works hard and makes good money, has no family to support so throws a couple of hundred quid at games every month. He's supporting the game so others can play for free. You think EA would continue to make this game if NOBODY bought donuts? Anyway, he's supporting the game you play so you can imply that he's a cheat and remove him from your friends list.
Also I'm sad for you that you care so much about a game that you have to police your friends list this way. I hope one day you'll find something worthwhile to fill that gap in your life and be happy.- I have a neighbour who had over 35k in emblems on day 2 of the event. Never even considered dumping him/her. It does not bother me one bit. I actually like visiting his/her town, because it gives me an opportunity to see the items I can look forward to. I don't understand why people care so much about what their neighbours do. I don't care what they do with their town as long as they do not crash my game.
