When visiting friends and tapping on their buildings. I've received 2 from one town before, and someone here said they received 8 in one day, after visiting all of their friends. Homer will say, "MMmmm... premium currency", and you'll see a donut among the cash.
Also, I only seem to get them when I have completed all of the current friendship prizes.
