Exactly. I can't come anywheare near mu IRS building, its all the way across my town I can't get anywhere near it. In fact I can't go 2 ft from the simpsons house before it crashes. The event will be over by the time EA does anything. And this far into the event I doubt they will do anything at all. They officially don't care, I'm convinced they don't care. And something tells me I may not be able to play it at all even after the event....I think EA put something into the game to make it so I can't play it, the only way I play it is on Bluestacks. And for me no other android emulator works on my system I don't play games on my phone, I refuse to because I am against that.
Have you tried moving the Simpson's house to where your IRS building is at or close to It as possible? Or use the yellow arrow button next to Bart/Milhouse to move around your Springfield? I also notice if the characters have voice dialog and it gets tapped while collecting cash or set a character task it will crash. I usually wait until the character stop talking before setting a task/collect cash.
Characters I notice causes the crashes the most are: Dr. Hibbert/ And wife, both of the Canadian Flanders, Kearney, Lenny/Carl, Smithers and little Homer I'm sure there are more. I either store them tapping the yellow directional symbol or ignore them. By doing this I'm able to move around my town better. It still crashes like crazy but I'm able to clear a lot better. Towns B & C I move around easier then town A lvl 939 with 300+ characters lags and crashes a lot even before this terrible update but I was still able to play the game longer than 10-20 seconds at a time.
That's what I had to do. I'll be glad once this get fixed and soon.
