So we finally have an event where we're encouraged to visit our neighbors. While zipping around during those visits, please take in the view and post here a design you think particularly good. I hope I can be forgiven for starting things off with a little bit of a cheat. It's a cheat because it's a design by one of the game's best, @brogames111, but I think I can get away with it since not enough people have seen this little gem:http://i.imgur.com/w8bWGt5.pngA couple ground rules:1) Contact your neighbor before posting an image that hasn't appeared online previously.2) Any image that has appeared on this site or others previously can be reposted. Have fun visiting your neighbors, visiting Showcase, venturing out to other sites, looking up old contest winners, and coming up with your own designs!

Last night I went to take a screen shot from @Pinpal00 - his Asian inspired area is some of the best use of 3D I have ever seen. Then I realized Id need to take about 10 shots to capture the whole thing! His Volcanic layer is also impressive. Pinpal - any chance you have these stitched already? If so, please share them! :D

I thought it was a general guideline that we don't post images from our neighbors' towns? Am I mistaken? I don't mind sharing certain photos from my own game, but I'm not comfortable with my neighbors sharing my town or reposting my images. Other than a handful of people who are forum friends, I have no idea how one would contact another gamer to ask permission.

I'm not referring to anything in a formally posted rule. I see it as an unspoken, gentleman's agreement type of guideline. The same holds true for other TSTO forums I have visited. Also, what is your method for contacting your neighbors? I surely don't have a way to do that. As I said, other than the handful that are on this forum along with me, I have no way to contact any person on my neighborhood list.
Again, just speaking for myself, I would not want other people posting/reposting images of my town. I extend the same courtesy to them.
