If you don't tap the screen for around 10 seconds or so, all the menus and stuff disappear, giving you a full screen screenshot.

I noticed that and was able to take some nice pics but when I went to stitch them into the shot there were too many glitches and it was just the first panel across. My Springfield is too big and there's simply too much white and if I'm going to invest some time into it then I want to see as much as possible to avoid bad stitches and that means waiting for the snow to thaw off.
