- There are also a few panoramic photo stitching apps that you can get on your phone/iPad to automatically stitch them together, with varying degrees of success. The problem I've seen with these is that you have to crop out the icons at the bottom of each capture before doing so.
I haven't used theser myself since I use Photoshop for a living, but it might be worth a try. - Do you or anyone know of any free apps, I only saw ones you had to pay for. I wait until the icons disappear before taking the screenshot, so cropping isn't an issue.
- My Springfield before Thanksgiving.
Since then I have purchased 2 strips of land along the Southern border, moved things around a bit, and of course added the new Level 25 and Christmas buildings. Once I have that all arranged like I like, I will post a new panorama. I need to get one with snow! - Your town is one of my favorites.
- Aww, thanks :) Yours is great too - what you did with Krabappel's Apartment is what I had hoped for in my mind, but failed to execute.

Every time I tried it with any panoramic app it was incredibly awkward and the results were awful. I think the only sure fire way is to use Photoshop but I neither own it nor know how to use it, which is where the dextrous talents and generous time of Zuzu come in.
Hmmm, I don't know about panoramic apps for iPads or iPhones but I googled for free panoramic makers(mac) and if you don't mind the watermark of the name of the software at the bottom of the image, it actually looks pretty okay to me. I actually did the panoramic view for myself to see so the watermark didn't really bother me. Hope this actually helps...
My Springfield ain't much and this was before the Xmas stuff..but here it is plus the watermark at the bottom...- Not bad, mellytan! Thanks for testing out the panoramic app also. That's a great tool for people to get their panoramics up here... hopefully we'll start seeing more!

No problem. :) Yeah, hopefully we'll see more. This one was real easy to use. Just put the pieces of snapshots together and it'll merge the photos. Easy peasy. Drag and drop. Kinda like doing a jigsaw puzzle.
My photoshop skills suck big time. I think cobwebs would have gathered on me by the time I'm done. :mrgreen:sonny1618 wrote:

I used Photoshop and it was extremely tedious and time consuming. I had to piece together like a giant puzle.- This is what I normally use on my PC. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/18313/create-panoramic-photos-with-windows-live-photo-gallery/ Except for wait4it's town, for some reason that wouldn't work.
