My Springfield before Thanksgiving.
Since then I have purchased 2 strips of land along the Southern border, moved things around a bit, and of course added the new Level 25 and Christmas buildings. Once I have that all arranged like I like, I will post a new panorama. I need to get one with snow!
This town is AWESOME! Way to go, definitely some quality time taken here. :D- http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8213/8281358965_e6d70937b8_h.jpg
- Thank you, Kennedy! :)

Here you go Beard of Doug. I'd love to see that white house forest in the Spring time!- I zig-zagged across the screen from left to right and back again, making sure there was some overlap between the shots... and there were a LOT of shots! I found that zooming in or out at all kind of screwed up my stitch, so I was careful to stick with the default zoom. That might be part of the problem???
Other than that, I'm not sure as I did mine by hand. - Sonny, for your town I had about 25 shots. I zoomed out as far as I could, and took overlapping images from left to right. I have a PC so I used the panoramic tool in Windows Live Photo Gallery. I'm not familiar with programs for Macs.
- thanks spiff! the campground does look great without the snow. kent likes to relax in the lawn chairs around the campfire.
@sonny, i did the same thing as zuzu. i took a lot of screen shots (i think around 50 or so becuase i didnt zoom out all the way). i also use gimp, its a free open source version of photoshop. works great. actually use it for work as well, its not one of those cheap programs. when you lay them out, feel free to overlap them to get everything in order. theyll stack like layers so you wont see where one picture ends and the other begins. once youre done, just save it as a jpg or png. its pretty simple just tedious and time consuming....but so is getting 1,000 comments on a message board ;-) hahaha. youll have it in no time. good luck and cant wait to see it on here. - So many nice towns. Spiff, yours is among my favorite neighbor springfields.
I also used photoshop, but made the crucial mistake to zoom in to get more details. Not only did that mean about 45 screenshots (phone screen), but the zooms were not 100% identical, so some things matched up poorly. And once I discovered I had a couple gaps, it was impossible to retake those without scaling in photoshop. Way too much work.
Once the snow is gone, i'll make another one, but Spiff is right - stick with default zoom. Glock23D wrote:

Here's your Springfield. I see you've made the owner of the cool brown house rather rich with the duff race car. :)
