Bumblebee Man's good tasks are too short for my purposes. I LIKE the tasks, but I very, very rarely use them because they're too short.
The problem with the 'wait to see what the next limited time items' tactic is that EA seems to have a new system wherein we will CONTINUALLY be getting limited-time items. In the "old days", there would be a few released now and then, will long periods in between. I think we'd have, like, five or six notable special events in a year.
So we could buy a much-desired permanent item in between the special events, and then hold onto some donuts in the periods before 'the summer event' and 'the Halloween event" and "Christmas Event" ...
It was wise to hold onto extra donuts if we knew a special event was on the horizon.
But I don't see any lull between special events anymore. It's, like, nonstop "limited time" items. A few weeks here and there without any, but ... well ...
BTW, I love Luann. :)
Thats some cold, hard logic right there.
It's logic that cant even be argued, however to each his own.
I agree that the Limited Time Train is rolling and seems like its never ever going to stop, but i prefer to stock up on them, as often the time between release and re-release sees a peak in usefulness for these characters.
For example, its a general rule of thumb to stock up on characters in the "Kids" group prior to Halloween as kids are often helpful during that event.
I would recommend that you wait, for the following 3 reasons.
1. A limited time character may be released thats too your liking
2. There may be a rebate sale thing Gil Deal.
3. One of the characters on your list may have usefulness in a future event (this happened too Rich Texan during the Burns Casino event and Wild West event, and those two events were back to back.)
Conclusion:
To each his own, id say wait it out a tad, Also Luann is the better choice the Investorette questline has some...interesting stuff.
