Honestly, id wait for the next event and see what limited time stuff shows up.

That said, I've not heard anyone say they're glad they bought Bumblebee Man.

I like Bumblebee man. His visual tasks are fun, though they're on the short side.

Have you already picked up Akira? He's definitely worth considering for the free Bonsai. (And he's cheap!)

Of the choices, I'd say I'm happiest with Luann. She's got a nice long quest line and unlocks the Fleet-a-Pita trucks. Of course, I don't think you'd regret Jasper either - I just think you get more bang for your buck with Luann.
  • As hard as it is to keep a tight grip on those donuts I'd try and see what's available in the next event as was mentioned above or if you can really control yourself try and wait for Halloween as that's not to far away and usually has some great stuff up for sale.
  • id rank them:

    Luan
    Jasper
    BBM

Honestly - not a fan of BBM because of the very short visual tasks. Luan and Jasper are two of my favs. Luann will also open up flleet a pita for you

    I loves Bumblebee Man.

    To: OP
Like others have suggested, I would wait a bit because something big is coming on the 16th :)

Bumblebee Man's good tasks are too short for my purposes. I LIKE the tasks, but I very, very rarely use them because they're too short.

The problem with the 'wait to see what the next limited time items' tactic is that EA seems to have a new system wherein we will CONTINUALLY be getting limited-time items. In the "old days", there would be a few released now and then, will long periods in between. I think we'd have, like, five or six notable special events in a year.

So we could buy a much-desired permanent item in between the special events, and then hold onto some donuts in the periods before 'the summer event' and 'the Halloween event" and "Christmas Event" ...

It was wise to hold onto extra donuts if we knew a special event was on the horizon.

But I don't see any lull between special events anymore. It's, like, nonstop "limited time" items. A few weeks here and there without any, but ... well ...

    BTW, I love Luann. :)

Thats some cold, hard logic right there.
It's logic that cant even be argued, however to each his own.

I agree that the Limited Time Train is rolling and seems like its never ever going to stop, but i prefer to stock up on them, as often the time between release and re-release sees a peak in usefulness for these characters.

For example, its a general rule of thumb to stock up on characters in the "Kids" group prior to Halloween as kids are often helpful during that event.

I would recommend that you wait, for the following 3 reasons.

    1. A limited time character may be released thats too your liking
    2. There may be a rebate sale thing Gil Deal.
    3. One of the characters on your list may have usefulness in a future event (this happened too Rich Texan during the Burns Casino event and Wild West event, and those two events were back to back.)

    Conclusion:
To each his own, id say wait it out a tad, Also Luann is the better choice the Investorette questline has some...interesting stuff.
  • Option 1 gives you the most value in my opinion. Moleman is one of my favorites and he a reasonable price. I like Jasper too. His 1 hour task is great. I'm personally not a.fan of Luann, but it appears I'm in the minority on that one. How about Jasper and Moleman?

  • Wait...until the 16th, or shortly after and see what the next event is.
If there isn't anything you want for donuts, buy one of your above listed items.
But really, if you don't absolutely love those listed things, why not wait?

I think you're just bored so you want to buy something ;)
  • I am a little bored but you guys convinced me to wait till the 16th. Hopefully something good shows up.

Like I said, I really don't go for characters that only appeared once (or not at all) in the show. And lately, the events have their own characters or skins for existing ones. But who knows...maybe Gil will have a good deal.

Anyway, thanks for the insight. I do appreciate it.
