Amount of duct tape from projects only.
Are the caps related to the number of items (duct tape) that you can get per day, or the number of projects you can complete? I was wondering if it was more beneficial to do the larger projects (which cost more metal and plastic) vs. the small ones that only yield a few blueprints.Tandaemonium wrote:
Cause I totally didn't and now in Act 2 I do. Ahead of the Track would always increase by 1000 each day and I wasn't limited by how many blueprints I could earn via projects
After getting Ray the cap was lifted. Then Ahead of the Track would start and each time you finished it it would increase by 1000 (well, the first two were at 3000). It didn't increase by 1000 "each day", but by each new round of it.
How many total blueprints did you get?- I had over 300,000 blueprints in act 1, because there was no cap, but, act 2 is driving me insane, because there is a cap. I don't know if this is another glitch or not, but it's a total pain in my * trying to get more tracks. Both act 1 and 2, I used donuts to get all the tracks and other prizes so I wouldn't need to worry about the daily jobs, but now, even though I have Uriah's Heap recycling center, I'm dead in the water because of the cap, which to me, is totally stupid. If EA intended to do this, then they did it to get more players to spend more donuts.
- Yes, act one had a freaking cap.

Took the screenshot because I thought it was glitching on me. No, it wasn't. There's hundreds of posts about it. It was (and still is) a definite thing that happens. I despise it. stinkbugger wrote:

I misspoke; I said increased 1000 each day, because for myself, I was able to finish each round each day.
I have the Hippie now, like Ray before (quests done), and still capped.- Really really disappointed with this stupid "project cap" I had a great vision for my monorail but I think that won't be achieved. I'm worried I won't be able to earn enough tracks before this event finishes with this idiotic restriction. I've seen so many posts on here from players asking for the monorail to be a part of this game. We finally get it and we have to go through all these ridiculous tasks to achieve one piece of track?!?!? Such a let down from EA as per usual this is just another money making donut buying event :(
