You can't get the deal if you already have the see saw or that other thing? If this is true, it's ridiculous and EA should really do something about it.

I don't have the deal in my B town and I have none of the items in the deal.

The deal should still be available whether you own the monkey bars or not. In fact, it should still be available even if you have the tetherball, a premium item. The only thing that should prevent this deal from being offered is if you already own Otto and the School Bus, because they are unique premium items that you can only own one each of.

For example, there was another Gil sale that offered Krustylu Studios with Sideshow Mel, Dr. Nick, and the Cannon. I had already purchased the cannon as a decoration for Ft. Sensible. Yet, I was still offered, and was able to purchase, that Gil deal because I didn't own Sideshow Mel or Dr. Nick. Thus, in theory, this deal should be the same way. But it seems to be glitched for players on higher levels for some reason. I already own Otto, but I hope this is fixed for my friends hoping to get a good deal on him now.

THE PLOT THICKENS:

In my 8 clone feeder towns, all at the same level (33, I think), NONE has ANY playground equipment, and NONE has any premium items, etc. Just the free storyline/quest items up to and including Androids. They do, however, each have sufficient donuts for this deal.

NONE of those were offered the Gil deal when I just visited them.

Then there's my newest feeder. Level 8. I just logged into it, and there's good old Gil standing (well, kneeling) there. Here's the screencap. (No fair judging my town, please.)


I am struck by the fact that another picture on this thread shows a low-level town with the deal. Are the ONLY towns with pictures of Gil deals from low-levels? So, do you suppose that they have it backward? And that ONLY towns BELOW a certain level are getting the deal? Again, none of my other feeders have decorations.



NOTE: IF EA ADVISES YOU TO UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE GAME, TELL THEM I SAID PHOOEY. I did that, and it DOES NOT WORK.

Same for me. I'm only level 21 in my B town.

The Gil's new update is legit.

Gil offers the School Bus, the Tetherball, the Monkey Bars and the Seesaw for 70d... Gil also claims that the original price is 140d, but other than the School Bus cost 120d, the rest can be bought using in-game cash.... That's low, Gil.

Anyway, it's still a good deal if u wish to own Otto and his schools bus. The school bus helps to create a nice illusion of park-able lots (that's discussed in another thread).

It's 140 because the tetherball is premium.
