I am struck by the fact that another picture on this thread shows a low-level town with the deal. Are the ONLY towns with pictures of Gil deals from low-levels? So, do you suppose that they have it backward? And that ONLY towns BELOW a certain level are getting the deal? Again, none of my other feeders have decorations.



NOTE: IF EA ADVISES YOU TO UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE GAME, TELL THEM I SAID PHOOEY. I did that, and it DOES NOT WORK.

Also your new town does not have the required donuts. Interesting idea about the level though.

Compression sucks. Shades/tints of red get the worst of it, followed by greens, and then blues. This often causes a lot of variation when an image had been shrunk by a basic resize tool (like image sites have) rather than a professional tool like Photoshop (and it can even happen there if the options aren't carefully selected.) Just went to my main town and had an in-game update...when it was over, I saw THIS:

I've just got it. But it's taken me what felt like 200 attempts to get into my town as the game seems to crash all the time now. Even tried accessing it via my tablet, but after all the updates I can't even login to that. The only update this game needs is one to fix the bugs.

Appears to be FIXED! Moments ago, update automatically happened again, and all towns seem to have the offer!

Are you also having trouble with the "Retry" button? THAT's what MY biggest problem is. I keep trying to tap "Retry" and the BUTTON doesn't work. All of a sudden, it finally does. Sometimes after stabbing at it a dozen times or more. Yeah, my screen is clean, and all else works fine. Just the dang "Retry" button. (The irony is thick.)

I thought the inconsistencies might be level-related as well. I checked several of my feeder towns, and one town at level 25 would have the deal and another at the same level wouldn't. Ditto a couple towns at level 26. However, any town higher than 26 didn't get the deal. Perhaps there's a building right around those levels that the app is misreading as the bus?

BTW, having Lisa free makes no difference, nor does nuking the town.

Edit: looks like the fix came just as I was typing this! I guess we'll never know now. Thanks, Annette, for the info.

I had that. Re-installed and it was better. Still the retry button but it works on first tap.
