PSA: Buy Mystery Present items with donuts instead of vouchers

If you don't have enough vouchers just go to the Mystery Presents window, pick the box you want, then a pop-up window will appear and you can choose to pay donuts to "rush it".

Silver: 50 Donuts
Gold: 70 Donuts
Platinum 100 Donuts

Which means 20 vouchers per donut.

I guess it will solve the issue for some of you that already had the items which earns vouchers and don't want multiples. For the rest: calculate wisely if it's worth for you to directly buy the presents. For example the Elf Home reward you with 7.2 vouchers per donut + payout + 2.50% bonus.
  • Long time premium players might have all the stuff already. All the prizes are unique and all but six were event prizes at one time.
  • Well that explains why I haven't seen them. I hate owning everything, I fell left out at times I should at least get a gift box for the guy who's got everything;)

20 vouchers per donut versus 6-10 vouchers per donut....that's a remarkable difference.

But the 6-10 vouchers/ doughnut scenario means u also got some item that u bought right?

Right. So if you want the stuff vouchers are a nice bonus. If you don't want the stuff just spend donuts directly.

    Exactly.

It is kind of funny that we can bypass the whole voucher system.

I think that's intentional hence why I didn't post it as a "trick". There are two reasons that can point on it:
    1. Even if someone will buy one of each item - assuming he's a new player and haven't got or bought any of the items - he should end up with around 10,000 vouchers (and we can add 2,500 from the Gnome) while all the presents worth around 35,000. Someone who can buy half of the items probably has half of the presents so it should balanced anyway. So basically from the vouchers system you can get a third of the entire presents offered (without buying multiples) then why not let the tappers to pay for it?
    2. The vouchers are technically crafting material even though they visualy looks like bills, and usualy you have the option to pay with donuts if you're missing crafting materials. Especially here when the cheapest item cost a 1,000 vouchers and tappers may end up with a lot of unused resources.

The only "bug" here is that players who already have all items can get vouchers, but since it's a very unusaul buy-get-craft system, I guess they'll do better next time.

    I don't have a mystery presents window/box

If you already have everything that's being offered, you don't see it.
  • I only had 2 boxes-the Racoon and the North Pole Station. Some how I was given enough vouchers to get the Racoon free.
