Confused about Mystery Presents

Question

I understand that the mystery presents are for a limited time.
However on the main icon of the myster presents it says they are available for 12 days. But when you tap on the question mark on the main screen before you choose a present. It says they are available for 8 days.

Which one is right??

Mine says exactly the same thing, but they are supposed to be for another 12 days. (Jan 3rd)

I would be ready for them to pull the plug in 8 days, though. They've done so many times before.

Thanks! I am determined to get atleast two presents, without purchasing other items with donuts. Might be tricky though.
