Or are you outside the neighbours town?
It’s on the neighbour screen where you see three towns together, bottom left.

I'm guessing inside the town as that's where I've come across all this...

Usually there's a counter when you're in a neighbour town which shows you how much currency you have but you can click to show how many friend actions you have left for the day..

It was only because I had to come out of a town to check and saw that it said none left after I'd done less that the 15 neighbours that flagged this for me, next neighbour I went too, it said I had 490 event currency, the three taps dropped wands and elfgold but when I went back to neighbour screen, I still only had 490 wands...

Will check again soon... my 24hrs are almost up but need to get to work...

Ok, kind of a weird one...

I did my neighbour visits just now, my friend actions countdown worked until I had about 15 friend actions to go when it said I had to come back tomorrow, I carried on for six more towns, five dropped wands and gold, the sixth just money and XP..

I checked my wand balance and I was up 44 wands, so not losing out as much as i thought I was..

Sorry for any confusion...

I don’t recall an event where the payout was even this low.

I might be wrong, but pretty sure I got 50 taps. 16 friends x 3, than only two on the 17th. Regardless, I totally agree, not really worth the time involved. A lot of work for very little payout.

I miss when the biggest controversy about friend visits was about the ethics of double haunting. Back then having 100 neighbors could make or break your event.

So, after the initial prompt to visit neighbors and collect wands and gold I haven’t been able to get anymore of either. I even bought the stupid card so friend actions would pay out more for the event. I started on day one, so all my neighbors have reset more than once and still no wands/gold. I feel double taken, once for the donuts I paid for the dumb card and again for having no rewards from visiting. I never buy those cards, but like everyone else I found the wand/gold drop to be really stingy.

It will tell you that you're out of wands after 30 actions or so, but if you keep visiting, you'll keep getting 1 wand and 1 gold for the regular first 45 actions. I also thought I was only getting credit for 10 visits, but it's 15 (well, 14...), no matter what the buggy "?" shows .
