I feel the crashes are EA. They only started getting really bad a couple days ago with that update that didn't appear to do anything (I understand things were done that I don't necessarily know about) so yes, I do blame EA. Whenever the game crashes, I check other programs or apps or internet and have only had a simultaneous error once. I'm not saying it happens to everyone but it does happen and it is not coincidence.
I have contacted EA and by now, I know the rubber stamp process.
1. Try to uninstall and reinstall? Yes.... Ok, try
2. Tried game on another device? No, sorry I only have one phone. Ok, try
3. Go online to www.answers.... yadda yadda and make a post. Tried that and told it's only for users by users. They told me to contact you. Ok, try
4. Here's a case number and we will escalate it further.
5. Undetermined amount of time later, ummm not seeing any problems.
It's the same cookie cutter response I'm sure many have already heard.
What gets me is these things worked perfectly before. It's a EVERYTIME THEY UPDATE SOMETHING, something else gets screwy.
If you don't have ANY problems, I am genuinely happy for you. Doesn't mean me and others are not experiencing problems. Much like you, I feel I deserve a game without so many problems. Especially easily fixed issues that keep coming up.
Perfect example. Why does the sound clip on some PREMIUM items come and go after "updates". Either in your town or while visiting others that have it, try tapping either the ghost ship or freak mobile for sound... There is none anymore.
